Naomi and Tom

This stunning wedding took place at the beautiful Battle Abbey in East Sussex, the 11th century building that sits on one of England’s most significant historic sites. This setting was a little different to previous weddings I’ve painted and I’m pleased with the result. I particularly enjoyed recreating Francis William Wilkins’ huge 1820 canvas ‘The Battle of Hastings’ which formed the backdrop to this sophisticated ceremony.
