Sophia and Angelos

Sophia and Angelos held their wedding reception at Highclere Castle, Sophia was phenomenal in her fabulous peacock-blue wedding gown and Angelos looking dapper in his long coattails and pinstripe trousers.

Highclere Castle is a magnificent building, totally dwarfing the massive cedar tree on the right, illustrating its enormity. As the setting of popular television series Downton Abbey, it’s a very well-known, iconic building, so I didn’t want to simplify it too much. However it has a lot of lines and recesses in the way of windows and decorative detail, so I adopted a more illustrative style, using a liner paintbrush to allow more flexibility.
