Mira and Ayaan

I recently painted this piece at a wedding fayre to demonstrate my Live Painting service. I wanted to showcase the artistic license that can used in a painting. Exchanging garlands is an integral part of the Hindu marriage ceremony, which is usually performed under a Mandap (usually a cover adorned with flowers). Instead I’ve painted this couple as though they’re reliving that special act elsewhere, away from everyone - an intimate moment between bride and groom.

You may wish your painting to depict a particular moment in your ceremony… if you’re getting married at a beautiful venue you may also want the building (or a particular room in it) included in your painting. Of course you can have it all! In our consultation, we’ll discuss what you’d like as the backdrop for your painting and in which moment of your Big Day you’d like to appear in your painting.
