Amhan and Harj

A stunning Anand Karaj wedding ceremony at Gurdwara Guru Nanak Parkash, Coventry.

In our video consultation prior to the big day, Amhan, Harj and I discussed what they’d like to include in the composition and some extra elements they’d like to embellish - for example the addition of Sikh symbols (Khanda 🪯 and Ek Onkar) and light beaming-in through the window over the walls and floor.
Amhan also wanted her nose-ring to feature in the painting, despite it being on her right side (away from the viewer) which is easily achievable.

Understanding my clients ideas for their painting is key to my bespoke service, which is why every composition I paint is different and unique.
